From the Pastor’s Desk – It’s always easier to find fault with others and to get angry at their sins whilst we ignore our own. But for us to be able to truly serve Christ, we are to have a clean heart and we must see our own sins first and ask for God’s forgiveness and cleansing. If we don’t honestly deal with our own sins, God may have to discipline us. Wednesday night after prayer we will see God do that to none other than King David. I invite you to join us Wednesday at 7:30pm in our series “Angry People of the Bible” and what we can learn from them. God has a message for all of us when we see faults in others and miss our own sins. Mat 7:3 “And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Helen’s Heart Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house. Test Me in this says, the Lord Almighty and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven…Malachi 3:10 When Andrew offered the 5 small loaves and 2 fish to feed the 5,000, he offered all that he had. This was the key to God’s abundant supply. We may only have a little bit of our time, love or money to offer – but given to Jesus it can be more than enough. May you enjoy God’s abundance this week. – Helen ☺.
