From the Pastors Desk – How complex is your life? Do you struggle to fit in all the things you have going on? Is such a busy life leaving you constantly stressed, tired and worn out? So many people in our society today tick all the boxes just mentioned and life has become one rushed panic day to the next. Life was never meant to be such and we have loaded ourselves up with so much that is our own doing! A woman by the name of Martha was living the hectic life and on top of that had Jesus over for a meal as well. Martha’s hectic lifestyle boiled over that night and she demanded that Jesus her guest, would say some stern words to her sister Mary, to help Martha in the kitchen. Jesus response to Martha that busy night could be the same words He might share with you and your overloaded life – Luk 10:41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: Luk 10:42But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from herIt might be time for you to set one thing in order, Mat 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Simply love the Lord and put Him first and your life will instantly change.

Helen’ Heart

O my God, my soul is in despair within me: therefore I remember you – Psalm 42:6 Our past memories can remind us of our hardships in life, they can be memories of a dysfunctional home, an alcoholic parent, physical abuse, poverty, sickness, heartache and difficulties. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, we can ask Him to walk with our yesterdays and remove those defeating memories. He can deal with those year of affliction and restore the year the locusts have destroyed – Joel 2:25. Let the remembrance of God in your life bring joy and pleasure and victory – Ladies don’t special end of term teaching with Guest Speaker Inga-Lill Guzik. Looking forward to seeing you Tuesday morning at 9:30am – Helen J

Grace Giving

Dads and mums don’t forget to give/remind your little ones of the blessed opportunity to give in their own Sunday school service – it will be a blessing to them!

CCSH has a tithe and offering container at the left side of the sanctuary as you enter for your grace giving for the work of the Lord here. – CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089 for those who wish to give electronically. 2Co 9:6 Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

Church Etiquette

We ask that once the service has commenced that should you need to leave the sanctuary that you are mindful to not be a distraction to those worshipping and listening to God’s Word. If you are returning please do so to the seating at the back of the sanctuary – thank you for your consideration.
