Missed opportunities…

Ecc 3:1    To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Missed opportunities are the most tragic regrets of life. Once gone they can never be gathered again. As the new sanctuary is getting closer to finishing, the opportunities to make your mark, to stand on the wall in a sense, as in the Book of Nehemiah, are diminishing. Many new people will come to visit the new sanctuary who will not have had the opportunity to paint, to clean, to sweat in the new sanctuary. It is not often that a new church is built in a community, in fact its very rare and the reality is that more churches (older) are closing down, or being used as restaurants or some trendy private accommodation. The hand over for the property is, Lord willing April 30, and whilst some jobs will remain these will most likely be specialist positions regarding sound, lighting and such things. There is still time to paint the door (3) for a children’s classroom, to clean up and to tidy so the finishing touches can be done so families can come into a place that has been prepared by you for worship. I encourage you, especially the men, make your make, be a part of a miraculous work that God is doing…it may never happen again!

Eph 5:15    ¶    See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Eph 5:16         Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
