Making the right decision

This week you may have to make some serious decisions. About work, study, university, relationships or health. For some of us decision making is that very thing we struggle with the most.

Early in my Christian walk I made many a wrong decision. The reason being I was the one deciding on which which way to go. When you make the wrong decision you sometimes pay a very high price.

Thankfully, now my decision making process is much surer and simpler.

The book of proverbs gives us a treasure of wisdom in so many ways and one of the them is how to make the right decision.

Proverbs 3:5-7

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths.

Do not be wise in your own eyes;

Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

Now, when making a decision I never hurry, I lay out the decision before the Lord and wait until He decides which path I am to choose.

God is never in a hurry and neither should we be especially when making an important decision.

I pray this week you will leave all the decision making in the hands of your Heavenly Father, and then you will always have great peace about the direction He leads you in.

Bless you.
