For Your Diary

This morning we have a dedication and a Sunday school graduation. Welcome this morning to CCSH and we pray the Lord’s blessing for you. Tonight we have guest speaker Pastor Gary Nelson from Calvary Chapel Temecula USA teaching from the Book of Ezekiel – “The Four Faces of Christ” This Wednesday join us for our most important prayer time here at the chapel followed by our study in the Book of Galatians – The Fruit of the Spirit! Join our 24/7 prayer ministry team and serve those in greatest need here at CCSH. To serve here at CCSH simply fill in a Connection Card and place it in our “Grace Offering” box. Our church was “tagged” yesterday and this sometimes occurs with the school holidays. We ask for your assistance during the holiday period to be an extra pair of eyes on the church property – thanks. As soon as we get a solid break in our weather we will be having a church lunch after our morning service – stay tuned! Please assist our ushers each Sunday by filling the front seats of the chapel first and keeping the rear seats reserved only for families with small children. Keep Ps Israel and Thomas in your prayers as they attend a Calvary Conference in Chang Mai this week.

From the Pastors Desk

I pray that today you will hear God speak to you through His Word. I pray that you are not distracted by anything or anyone that will take away your attention to worship and exalt our Lord today. I pray that you will be moved by God’s Holy Spirit to encourage another believer or a stranger today to walk with the Lord and to trust in Him with their lives. I pray that you will take some time today to be a blessing to the smallest saints here and especially to those who you notice are on their own or distant. Finally I pray that today you will know God’s calling on your life and sense the urgency of the hour for you to be serious in your relationship and walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. May God richly bless you as you serve Him, love Him and share His forgiving love with others, especially those who are lost and alone. Join us for prayer this Wednesday and it will change your life!

Helen’s Heart

Keep on praying, keep on seeking, keep on knocking. – Matt 7:7 NLT I was told of a true story of a Stephen Harcourt who longed for his sons’ conversion. He prayed that his imminent death would be serene and triumphant so that his boys would see how good it is to be a Christian. However when the old man’s time came, his sons were all present and witnessed his body racked with pain and his mind terrified. It would seem his prayers were unanswered. But listen! One of the sons said to his brothers, “If father being the man he was, found death so terrible, how will it be with us?” They all became Christians. Even when our prayers seem unanswered and there seems only defeat – our victory is as radiant gold. Keep on…and you will receive what you ask for – Matt 7:7 NLT
