Bulletin, Sunday 27th December 2015.

Sunday 10:00 am – The Book of Hosea – “The 2nd Greatest Love Story in the Bible!” Sunday 6:00pm – NO EVENING SERVICE – 27TH DECEMBER ONLY Wednesday – Prayer Meeting at 7:00PM at the chapel – 1 Tim Series 7;30 pm. What’s HAPPENING & WHEN – Before each Sunday morning service we encourage you to be part of the prayer team that prays specifically for the services here Sunday. We especially want to encourage more men to get involved in this most important part of ministry here at CCSH. Wednesday night there is prayer here at the chapel starting at 7:00pm followed by our series in 1 Timothy – “Qualifications to Lead!” Due to last Thursday’s Christmas Eve service there will be no Sunday evening service on December 27 only. All Sunday services will be back to normal the following week. Last day today, for giving to the ‘Veil of Tears’ ministry. Israel Bible tour leaves in only 9 days. Please keep them in your prayers! 2015 was marked as the “Year of Courage”. Next week we will declare our specific objective for 2016 for the church here at CCSH. Pastor’s Desk – Christmas is over, holiday season is here and rest and recreation become welcomed companions. Each year at this time I am compelled to remind people in the holiday season to ensure not take leave from their relationship with God along with the change of work routines due to the holiday season. If you’re going on vacation attend a church where you’re holidaying. If one is not available, gather the family at the normal time you would worship the Lord and spend time praying, worshipping and reading the bible. Relationships in marriage, and those between parents and children don’t drop away during vacation time – husband, wife, father or mother. So too are you still a child of God. Make the extra time away from normal routine to pray with God on that beach walk. Ask Him to guide you for the coming year. Take that extra opportunity with your children to tell them how much God loves them and what Jesus did for each of them at Calvary. Refuel, refresh and read greater chunks of God’s Word. Set about to build some lasting Godly memories! Helen’s Heart – Wisdom has the advantage of giving success – Ecc 10:10. Many, as the New year approaches are considering New Year resolutions and goals for the year. Among these aspirations would desire for a successful year. However much of the idea of success is caught up in the hype of popularity and wealth. Wisdom is not even a factor in the equation. Wisdom may not give us fame and riches or notoriety but as God gauges it, we will ultimately be successful. This morning is the last opportunity to give to ‘Veil of Tears’ – Asia ministry. So far there has been over $1,000 collected. May God bless your Giving. – Helen ☺ Grace Giving CCSH has a tithe and offering container at the left side of the sanctuary as you enter for your grace giving for the work of the Lord here. – CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089 for those who wish to give electronically. Gen 14:20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
