From the Pastor’s Desk God gives us these amazing roles to do in our lives. We grow from a child to an adult and all the responsibilities adult life then brings. Such as marriage and becoming a parent, or as it is Father’s Day today, a father. Over the years there have been volumes of books written about fatherhood. Yet as we look at our world we wonder at their KPI’s! The role of a father is at times daunting, at times overwhelming and yet also exhilarating. I have read the story of the prodigal son so many times yet each time I look at it, it’s like a bottomless chasm of wonderment as I stare into what appears to be the very heart of our Heavenly Father. Maybe you have had a difficult time in your upbringing, or a father whose memory brings anguish or sorrow to you. Everyone needs a loving Father and I am so glad that the Bible tells me that everyone can have this very blessing. Today, remember you have a Heavenly Father who loves you more than you will ever know. Have a blessed Father’s Day, because you have a blessed Father. Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name….

Helen’s Heart Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture says streams of living water will flow from within him/her –John 7:38 What robs us of God’s joy? The demands of everyday life. These cannot be ignored, but if we allow them they bledd us dry and feeling empty. The solution?? The water of Life! Read the Word – drink freely of the water of Life. The woman at the well was revealed the secret – “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”John 4:10. Ask and you shall receive. Tuesday 9:30am “Mums and Bubs” – Proverbs 31 Woman – a woman of enterprise. Wednesday 9:30 am prayer.

Grace Giving CCSH has a tithe and offering container at the left side of the sanctuary as you enter for your grace giving for the work of the Lord here. – CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089 for those who wish to give electronically. But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
